PHOENIX - A teen died after being stuck by a car near 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road, Friday night.
At about 9:30 p.m. Phoenix Police responded to a call referring to a pedestrian being hit by a car.
Police said the pedestrian, 17-year-old David J. Rosales was crossing Thunderbird Road at mid-block when he was struck by a car traveling east on the same street.
Rosales was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene.
Police said impairment doesn’t appear to be a factor.
