Here's your chance to see Arizona's Lavender Festival

One of the western hemisphere's largest lavender farms is in bloom and ready for picking!

Editor's Note: The video above is from last year's festival.

Did you know, hidden in the heart of what seems like the middle of nowhere in Concho, is a real gem! You'll find acres and acres of lavender and vineyards at Red Rock Farms.

There are around 40,000 lavender plants of more than a dozen varieties, making it one of the largest lavender farms in the western hemisphere!

You can see the blooms in their full purple glory starting the last two weeks of June, which happens to be the timing of the Arizona Lavender Festival. At this year's 15th annual festival is "U-Cut Lavender," demos, food, wine tasting, live music and all kinds of lavender products for sale.

Festival hours are 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. through Sunday June 23 and then again Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, June 30. Entry is $5 per person.
