PHOENIX — The monsoon season isn't over quite yet and as a parting gift, it's left the Valley with some rain moisture.
Sunday started out with light showers from overnight but storms are expected to pick up towards the afternoon and evening. Rain chances are possible heading into the workweek as well.

About 0.14" of rain has fallen in Phoenix since midnight, according to NWS. The high across the city is just 80 degrees.
Light showers are expected across the Valley into the afternoon while the southeastern part of the state may see more intense thunderstorms.
A Flash Flood warning was issued for Coconino and Navajo counties until 1:30 p.m.
