Live updates: Flash flood warning issued for parts of Maricopa County; strong storms throughout the state

ARIZONA, USA — Monsoon 2021 continues to provide some rain throughout the state. 

Coconino and Maricopa counties are expected to see some severe thunderstorms on Wednesday that could bring some heavy wind and possible hail with them.

7:40 p.m.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Rio Verde and Sunflower through 3:15 a.m. 

7 p.m. 

Scattered showers could hit the northern parts of the Valley through the night. 

5:50 p.m. 

A flash flood warning has been issued for Anthem, New River and Cave Creek through 1:45 a.m. 

5:45 p.m. 

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Maricopa County. 

5 p.m.

A flood advisory has been issued for Flagstaff. 

4:30 p.m.

Heavy rain was reported along Interstate 17 near Black Canyon City. 

3:40 p.m. 

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Coconino County until 4 p.m. 

Broken showers could bring rain to Wickenburg along with some possible lightning.
