The monsoon is in full swing for Arizona, but drivers on the Interstate 10 mostly escaped that Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service issued a dust storm warning for Interstate 10 near Casa Grande and near Eloy until 7:45 p.m., but canceled it shortly after 7 p.m.
While the warning was still active, National Weather Service in Phoenix said drivers on the I-10 in Pinal could encounter a lot of dust while on the road.
Drivers were told to stay alert and pull aside if needed.
The dust storm warning came as the majority of the state saw monsoon activity Wednesday.
Early Wednesday was the first time Phoenix saw measurable rainfall so far this monsoon: a whole .04 inches!
