PHOENIX - In response to excessive heat, the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Survival Squad has activated 14 relief stations throughout the Valley to help people in need.

In addition to relief stations, the Salvation Army will dispatch a mobile hydrating unit to portions of the Phoenix metro area in need.

These cooling and hydrating stations will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day during excessive heat days.
