Monday morning kicked off with scattered to light showers around the Valley and parts of the high country. Storms are in the forecast again Monday afternoon. There's a better chance for thunderstorms up on the Mogollon Rim later in the day. The Valley could see an isolated storm or two.
Storms that do develop in the high country could produce flash flooding. Other threats are lightning and gusty winds. Arizona starts to dry out by the weekend, with temperatures rebounding well above average.
