PHOENIX — High pressure will make sure to keep the weather dry and warmer than normal all week long.
High clouds or elevated smoke could stretch out across the Arizona sky at some points.
In the higher terrain, expect breezy west to southwest winds each afternoon.
Maximum temperatures will finally trend in the right direction by next weekend, dropping down closer to what’s expected this time of year, which translates to highs in the 80s for the Valley.
By Sunday, a disturbance will bring some moisture into the state, along with some breezier conditions. The best chance to see a shower will be the higher terrain, but we can't rule out an isolated shower even in the Valley on Sunday or Monday. Stay tuned!
