PHOENIX — Here’s a breakdown of the closures and restrictions you can expect to see around the Valley this weekend.
Northeast Valley
Loop 101 westbound is closed between SR 51 and Cave Creek Road for a widening project from Friday 10 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m. SR 51 northbound ramp to Loop 101 westbound is also closed.
Loop 101 westbound traffic can detour to SR 51 southbound and use westbound Union Hills Drive to northbound 7th Street to reach Loop 101 westbound. Drivers north of Loop 101 can also consider using westbound Deer Valley Drive to southbound Cave Creek Road.
Southwest Valley
Loop 202 northbound (South Mountain Freeway) is closed between Lower Buckeye and Buckeye roads for bridge work from Saturday 3 a.m. until Monday 4 a.m. Loop 202 northbound traffic exiting at Lower Buckeye Road can detour on northbound 59th Avenue.
