PHOENIX — Thank you for visiting 12news.com for the weekend traffic report. According to ADOT, here’s what you need to know for Friday, Dec. 13 – Monday, Dec. 16. Commuters will not deal with any major freeway closures this weekend but may see some heavy traffic in Glendale due to a couple of sporting events.

The Arizona Coyotes play against the New Jersey Devils at Gila River Arena on Saturday. Game time is 6 p.m. so expect heavy traffic in Glendale around that time.

Then, the Arizona Cardinals take on the Cleveland Browns Sunday at 2:05 p.m. at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Expect heavy traffic in west Phoenix on the I-10 westbound and Loop 101 northbound. Try to avoid delays by using the Loop 101 southbound, Grand Avenue or surface streets.

That’s it for now, enjoy the weekend!
