Part of the U.S. 93 northwest of Phoenix will be closed during the day on Monday and Tuesday, the Arizona Department of Transportation recently announced.
U.S. 93 will be closed in both directions from the junction with State Route 89 to the junction with State Route 71 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
U.S. 93 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from the junction with SR 71 to the junction with SR 89 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Crews are scheduled to complete fog seal work, which protects and extends the life of the pavement.
Drivers should allow extra travel time and consider an alternate route while these closures and restrictions are in place.
Significant delays are to be expected.
