FLORENCE, Ariz. — The Pinal County Sheriff's Office closed all lanes of State Route 79 north of Florence due to a "law enforcement issue," the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The highway was reopened at about noon.
Deputies closed the northbound lanes at milepost 135 and southbound lanes at milepost 140.
The sheriff's office has commented saying the issue is a "fluid situation." The Florence Police Department has not yet issued a comment on the situation.
