GLOBE, Ariz. — Three teenagers were killed in a rollover crash along US-70 Friday night.
DPS says troopers got reports of a van crashing east of Globe just after 10 p.m. Investigators say 10 people were in the van, and three teenage students were killed in the crash.
The other passengers were injured but are expected to recover.
Traffic on US-70 was shut down in both directions for several hours but was reopened around 1 a.m.
Eastern Arizona College identified the victims as two 16-year-old students and a 17-year-old student from the Gila Institute for Technology
The campus issued the following statement:
"The Eastern Arizona College (EAC) campus community mourns the tragic loss of three Gila Institute For Technology (GIFT) students and those injured in a rollover accident last night. We join the entire Gila Valley community in prayer for the families and friends of these students and send our heartfelt condolences to them."

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but authorities have ruled at DUI.
