Larry Fitzgerald recently spent time with a young fan fighting a rare disease.

PHOENIX — From his incredible catches to his numerous NFL records, there are plenty of reasons to root for Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

But out of everything, his work in the community is a big reason why Fitzgerald is a fan favorite.

And here's just another example.

The Cardinals recently tweeted out a video of Fitzgerald visiting with Caleb, a young boy fighting Machado-Joseph disease.

According to the video, Caleb's mother recently died from the same disease.

A local Dave and Buster's location opened up early so Caleb and Fitzgerald could have the games all to themselves.

"As things progress with Caleb, it's nice for him to have something to look back on and dream on and remember," said Janey Pearl Starks, a family friend. "He'll be smiling for a long time, based off of what happened this morning."

Just one of the many reasons why fans will always cheer for Larry.
