Arizona Cardinals extreme food: Gridzilla, Taco-Dilla and a giant burger challenge

WARNING: Some of this football food is graphic. Eater discretion is advised.

What's more American than football?

Remarkably large food items at football games, of course.

The Arizona Cardinals showed off their patriotism Tuesday in unveiling several new items on the menu at University of Phoenix Stadium, including a $75 burger/hot dog/bratwurst monstrosity that could feed the entire Cardinals offensive line.

If you finish the Gridiron Burger Challenge (5 burger patties, 5 hot dogs, 5 bratwursts, 20 slices of American cheese, 8 slices of bacon, 8 chicken tenders, 12 ounces of fries, plus lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and sauce on a 10-inch bun) in less than an hour, you'll receive a Cardinals jersey and get your picture on the scoreboard -- if you can sit through a photo after eating all that.

SCHEDULE: Cardinals 2018 schedule

The Gridzilla Burger ($22) is a less extreme version of the same idea: a burger patty, a hot dog, a bratwurst, bacon and two chicken tenders with fries, veggies, cheese and sauce.

The Dirty Fry Bird ($21) is stadium Mexican poutine: A pound of fries with queso, pico de gallo, jalapenos and fried chicken legs.

Next up is the Taco-dilla (15), which is basically just two entrees: A cheese quesadilla with four tacos (pollo asada or red chile beef), plus sour cream, pico and guacamole.

For desert, the Cards introduced the Churro Donut Sundae ($11). From the bottom up, it is a waffle cone cup with vanilla ice cream and a churro donut. On top of that donut is chocolate ice cream and another churro donut. On top of that donut is a strawberry, caramel and chocolate syrup.

Remember, if you aren't at University of Phoenix Stadium for the games this season, you can catch the Cardinals Locker Room Show each week after Sunday Night Football on 12 News, the official home of the Arizona Cardinals.
