Guide to spring training stadiums: Oakland A's Hohokam Stadium

Everything you need to know about the Spring Training home of the Oakland Athletics.

The calendar has turned to March, and that means Spring Training is in full swing across the Valley!

The Cactus League home of the Oakland Athletics is Hohokam Stadium and it’s an amazing place to catch some baseball in Mesa. 

To help you navigate this year’s spring training season, here’s everything you need to know about the stadium. 

How to buy tickets

Fans can buy tickets for spring training games at Hohokam Stadium on the Oakland A’s website

Tickets are also available for purchase at the stadium box office by walk-up only, no phone orders are accepted.

Where to park

The Hohokam Stadium parking lot is available to fans during all home games. The cost is $5 for vehicle parking and $10 for oversized and RV parking.  Access to the parking lot is found on Center Street, north of Brown Road.

Handicap-accessible parking is available by entering South Entrance off Center Street.

Ballpark highlights

Hohokam Stadium has been the Spring Training home for the Oakland Athletics for five years. The stadium has a terrace level and awesome down-the-line views. Foodies can also enjoy Bay Area-based food and beverage options during the games, as well local favorites like Freak Brothers Pizza and Gadzooks.

Fans looking to get some autographs from the players may request signatures during batting practice and up to 20 minutes prior to game time, and again after the game is over. 

Lawn seats are available in left and right field for those looking to watch the game from the grass.

Nearby restaurants and bars

For a quick fast-food fix, Taco Bell and Subway are located right near the stadium on Mesa Drive and Brown Road. For those looking for a more dine-in experience, Native Grill and Wings, Maya New York Pizza Bar and Grill and Grandma’s Kitchen near Mesa Drive and Brown Road are great options.

Some other Mexican food options include Old El Paso Tamales and El Gallo de Lagos near Horne and Brown Road.
