Move over, Luis Gonzalez, there’s a new Chase Field home run king.
Paul Goldschmidt’s home run during Wednesday night’s game made him the new leader in home runs at the Diamondbacks home ballpark.
In the first inning, Goldschmidt's 2-run homer gave the team an early lead and him sole possession of a prestigious record.
Now, with 96 home runs at Chase Field, Goldschmidt stands alone after passing Gonzalez, the popular outfielder and '01 World Series hero.
Arizona tweeted out video of the blast to commemorate the occasion.
Another incredible milestone for Goldy’s illustrious career.
