On Monday, an important meeting is scheduled to take place in Helsinki, Finland between President Trump and Russia’s Vladamir Putin.
The timing couldn’t be more interesting. If it happens, it will take place just days after Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian GRU agents.
The GRU is Russia’s military intelligence agency and these guys don’t fool around. They were working not as rogue agents but in an official capacity for the Russian government. According to Mueller, they hacked and interfered with our 2016 election.
So, ask yourself, has the Mueller investigation been worth it if it uncovers a foreign power wishing to harm our democratic process?
I think so.
Here’s this week's, On the Mark.
