A Chandler dress boutique is making it possible for a single mother to go to prom

It's literally Cinderella's home.

It's every girl’s dream to dress up and literally become Cinderella from head to toe.

Dresses, dresses, and even more dresses.

The Cinderella Affair in Chandler is basically Cinderella's dream home, and in this case, it's a boutique for girls wanting to go to prom.

"We give free prom dresses, shoes, jewelry and purses to any junior or senior girl in Arizona," said Tracy Estenson the Chief Fairy Godmother of the Cinderella Affair Boutique.

Tracy said all high school students need a valid ID to be able to choose their outfit for prom.

"Each year we probably average about 1,500 girls that come through our doors," said Estenson.

She said there have been more and more girls coming each year, with the line out the door during their open boutique day.

"We've had girls line up even the night before. I don't encourage sleeping overnight at all," said Estenson.

Tracy said she is starting an effort to bring more groups of girls either from schools or various organizations to come to the boutique to pick out a dress.

"Right when I walked in here, I was just like 'Wow, this is like a castle," said Angelica Olivas a student at Compadre Academy in Tempe.

Angelica, who will be attending her prom for the second time, is a single mom who attends Compadre Academy in Tempe. She's currently in a program that helps teens in parenting.

"I'm 20 years old and I'm still in school, but I'm fighting to graduate so I can succeed," she said.

She sadly recently lost her fiancé around the same time her daughter was born.

"I'm doing everything I can to be a proud mom and succeed for my daughter," said Olivas in tears.

And that she is. Angelica was nominated for the Courage Award by her school for her efforts and strength to keep pushing forward.

A well-deserved Cinderella she will be for her prom night, all thanks to the Cinderella Affair.

Almost every piece at the Cinderella affair is donated.

Estenson said that the boutique does accept donations year-round and anything worn for prom night from the boutique can be returned as well.

If you would like to pick out a prom dress, the boutique will have two more open days: March 31 and April 7 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
