Tax hike for Arizona schools could be teachers' goal

If their walkout this week doesn't produce results, Arizona teachers could push for a statewide vote on raising taxes to fund schools.

As Arizona schools and parents prepare this week for the state's first teachers strike in 40 years, what will organizers do if Gov. Doug Ducey doesn't agree to their demands?

On this weekend's "Sunday Square Off," our panel of Chad Campbell, a former House minority leader, and Paul Bentz, a political consultant and polling expert at Highground Consulting, agree that teachers union leaders would likely push for a statewide ballot initiative that would fund schools by raising taxes. See the video in the clip above.
