Here's how you can register to vote in Arizona primary ahead of July 30 deadline

The primary is Aug. 28, but in order to vote, you MUST be registered by 11:59 p.m. today.

The deadline to register to vote in Arizona's 2018 primary election is hours away.

The primary is Aug. 28, but in order to vote, you MUST be registered by 11:59 p.m. today.

So how can you register in time?

You can register online

This might be the simplest way. You can register online at servicearizona.com/voterRegistration. You can also use this website to check the status of your registration and update any changes to your information.

You can also check the status of your registration on the Secretary of State's website.

You can register in person

Don't have access to a computer or internet? You can register to vote in person by visiting your county recorder’s office.

So who I can vote for?

One of the biggest races in this year's primary is for the U.S. Senate. Which Democrat and Republican will be running against each other for the seat being vacated by the retiring Jeff Flake?

Well, that's completely up to your vote ... but only if you register on time.

For a full list of primary candidates visit the Arizona Secretary of State's website.

What else should I know?

Early ballots in Maricopa County can be requested on the county recorder's website. They will be mailed 27 days before election day.

If you decide to skip the primary for whatever reason, the general election is Nov. 6, 2018 and the voter registration deadline is Oct. 9, 2018.
