PHOENIX - A man is in the hospital in critical condition after he was crossing Broadway Rd. on foot mid-block when he was hit by a car.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The crash happened near 14th Ave. and Broadway. Eastbound and westbound traffic on Broadway 9th St. and 16th St. is blocked and drivers need to seek alternate routes.
