CHICAGO, IL - JANUARY 11: A sign hangs outside Walmart store on January 11, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois.

Have you ever grown so frustrated waiting for assistance while shopping, you want to take matters into your own hands?

That's exactly what Forrest Hunter did Friday while waiting to get his hunting license at a Walmart in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

Growing ever impatient while waiting for an associate in the sporting goods section, Hunter did what many shoppers have dreamed of doing in that situation: He picked up the intercom and asked for one himself.

"Customer needs assistance in sporting goods, please. I'm the customer," he said.

That did the trick.

According to WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky, a store associate came over afterward to help Hunter.

"A guy walked up and asked if I needed any help," Hunter told the news station. "I said, 'How'd you know?' Then I bought my hunting license."

The video, which was posted Friday on Facebook, has received nearly 3 million views and has been shared 52,000 times as of Wednesday afternoon.
