My first interaction with 12 News Anchor Mark Curtis begins way back in the late ‘90s.
I was recovering from my illness at Phoenix Children’s Hospital when he stopped by to visit with patients.
From the first time we met, to the subsequent visits during my eight-month hospital stay, I knew Mark would be a big part in my life story.
His chats inspired me to pursue a career in journalism, but little did I know we would end up becoming co-workers almost 20 years later.
In the latest episode of The Disabled List, I sit down with Mark to talk about his life in journalism, his love of sports and how his daughter plays into his best moment in news.
