"Karts" is trying to become the oldest person to successfully "yo-yo" the Arizona Trail.

Sun City resident Art Huseonica, or “Karts” as he’s known by his friends, is on the hike of his life.

He took off in October to tackle the Arizona Trail and attempt to break an impressive record. If Huseonica is able to hike the 800-mile trail to the end and back, he’ll become the oldest person to accomplish this incredible feat.

In this episode, I had the chance to sit down with Huseonica to talk about his preparations for his record-breaking attempt, his love for hiking and his incredible experience with Bear Grylls.

If you want to track his progress on the trail, you can follow his adventures on Instagram. To listen to this week's episode, visit your favorite podcast services.
