PHOENIX — More than 100 nonprofit organizations will fill the Van Buren Sunday with representatives available to answer questions about their local causes.

Like a job fair but for volunteering, Phoenix residents can learn about opportunities to serve the community.

The fair is happening Sunday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Van Buren located at Van Buren Street and 4th Avenue. The downtown Phoenix music venue, Downtown Phoenix Inc. and the City of Phoenix are organizing the event.

The volunteer fair is free and open to all ages. According to the Facebook event page, the outdoor cafe at the Van Buren will be serving food and drinks.

The event page says more than 100 nonprofit organizations will have a presence at the event. Some of those listed include Ability360 Sports and Fitness Center, Arizona Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, Hospice of the Valley, Mi Familia Vota, No More Deaths Phoenix, Phoenix Children's Hospital and St. Mary's Food Bank.
