The days-old litter of puppies and their mama taken from a small trailer by an Arizona Humane Society Emergency Animal Medical Technician during a 12 News ride along are in need of a foster home.

A spokeswoman for AHS reached out to 12 News saying Creamsicle and her pups are looking for a "AHS Foster Hero" until they are big enough for adoption.

12 News tagged along with EAMT Katie MaGowan Sunday as she responded to reports of a woman living with over a dozen dogs in a small Phoenix trailer.

The woman had multiple pregnant dogs in a pack of Chihuahuas, including Creamsicle and her days-old litter. She agreed to surrender Creamsicle and her puppies.

AHS said Creamsicle and her litter are one of many moms and pups at the shelter looking for foster homes.
