Police ask for help identifying woman found dead in desert near Buckeye

BUCKEYE, Ariz. — Police are asking the public for help in identifying a woman found dead in the desert near Buckeye last month.

According to Buckeye PD, the woman was found on April 17 about 10 miles north of Indian School Road and 355th Avenue.

The medical examiner says it is estimated the woman died between one and eight months prior.

It's estimated the woman was between 33 and 58 years of age. She was 5-foot-3 and had a tattoo of "Joe" or "Foe" on the right side of her neck.
