PHOENIX - A few hundred students staged walkouts Wednesday, just hours after Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States.

Aerial footage showed students from several Valley high schools, including Carl Hayden, Metro Tech and North, walking from campus -- many gathering at the state capitol.

Students there said they were protesting the results of the presidential election and Donald J. Trump's win.
