For the second time, Phoenix Sky Harbor has topped a list of the best airports in the United States, according to the travel website, The Points Guy.
The report from TPG looked at data from the airports themselves, Department of Transportation and third-party databases to compile the list of best airports.
Each airport was weighted across three main categories: Amenities, Accessibility and Timeliness.
"We weighted all factors based on the realities of modern travel and the needs of 21st-century travelers," TPG wrote, "but also paid heed to elements that went beyond getting you from Point A to Point B"
Although Sky Harbor wasn't first in any of the categories, it "made strong showings in nearly all of them."
According to the TPG report, Sky Harbor is easily reached by car or bus, has cheap parking, short security wait times when compared to others and "respectably low" delays and cancellations.
"PHX arguably won not necessarily by coming in first anywhere, but by not having any crippling flaws," TPG wrote.
