PHOENIX - Phoenix Police released findings of an investigation Tuesday about a toddler that died on Oct. 24.
Phoenix PD responded to a preschool on East Bell Road on Oct. 23 for a call about an unresponsive child.
The 2-year-old victim had choked on food that lodged in his airway. The fire department also responded and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. The toddler was pronounced dead the next day.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the death investigation is ongoing.
