The Phoenix City Council has announced five dates for public meetings to discuss the proposed $230 million deal to keep the Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown.
The city council is expected to vote on the deal Jan. 23 after moving to delay the vote earlier this month.
The five public meetings, which will serve as a way to inform the public about the proposed arena agreement and allow them to submit feedback and questions, will take place before Jan. 23.
The deal would pay for a three-year renovation of the city-owned arena and a new training facility for the Suns.
The city would pay $150 million from its Sports Facilities Fund, which is financed by hotel and rental car taxes.
The city has launched public information website regarding the deal.
