A man was shot in the leg on northbound Loop 303 near Camelback Road Thursday afternoon.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a driver in a silver Chevrolet Camaro was shot by someone in a pickup truck.
Goodyear police said the road rage incident that led up to the shooting likely began on Loop 303 near Interstate 10.
The driver was released from the hospital Thursday and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
The suspect vehicle is a work type white Ford F150 pickup with a roof rack, Goodyear police said.
Northbound Loop 303 was closed from Interstate 10 to Camelback Road for a few hours for the investigation. The freeway has since reopened.
