LIST: Here's what school districts plan to do during the walkouts

Arizona school districts are preparing after educators announced they would walk out Thursday.

PHOENIX - Arizona's largest teacher membership group has voted for a statewide walkout by public school employees.

A member of the Arizona Education Association said there would be no limit on the length of the walkout. School employees said they plan to continue their walk-ins on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before walking out Thursday, April 26.

We're compiling a list as school districts announce their plans for the walkout. This list will be updated as more school districts announce their plans. This list includes school districts in 12 News' coverage area, mainly the Valley and northern Arizona. There are school districts in other parts of the state, such as Tucson, that are not reflected in this list.

If you know of a school closing that's not on the list, please email connect@12news.com.

If your child's district plans to close its schools, multiple businesses are stepping in to provide enrichment programs during the walkout.
