TOLLESON, Ariz. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Tolleson near 99th Avenue and Van Buren, police sya.
The pedestrian was crossing the street out of a designated crossing area when they were struck. Police say the pedestrian was found to be "highly impaired" by alcohol.
Police say the driver was not impaired and stayed on scene.
