PHOENIX - Documents released Friday shed a bit more light on the interactions between accused I-10 shooter Leslie Merritt, Jr. and investigators.

"Dude, if you get a polygraph right now," Merritt said. "If you get a polygraph right now, I'll pass..."

"So you're willing to take a polygraph?" the investigator replied.

"I'll [expletive] take one right now, dude," Merritt said.

Merritt also told investigators that he believed his coworkers may have committed the shootings, saying that they would borrow his car -- with his gun inside -- during lunch breaks.

The coworker denied involvement to investigators and said that Merritt had told him he was scared about the shootings.
