GILBERT, Ariz. - A water balloon fight broke out in the middle of campus as part of a senior prank at Highland High School on Tuesday.
Part of the incident was captured on cellphone video that was posted to Twitter.
Highland High School principal Melinda Murphy walked into the chaos to shut down the prank.
She then closed off parts of the school for about 20 minutes, prompting kids to post videos showing students locked out of classes. Many students said they were upset because of the heat outside.
It is unknown if the students involved in the prank will be disciplined.
