Thank you for visiting 12news.com for the weekend traffic report. Here’s what you need to know for the weekend of June 1-4, 2018. Commuters will face a closure and restrictions this weekend.

The I-10 westbound is narrowed to one lane (right lane open) between the I-17 and 35th Avenue for overhead sign installation, Friday 10 p.m. till Sunday noon. Commuters please allow extra travel time or consider alternate routes, including the Loop 101 westbound and southbound in the West Valley. Stay alert and watch for highway crews and equipment when approaching and traveling through work zones.

Also, expect other lane restrictions along sections of I-10 between 19th Avenue and Loop 101 during the same times as above. Restrictions include eastbound and westbound HOV-lane closures in some areas for sign installation.

The Loop 202 southbound/westbound is closed between Elliot and Hawes roads in east Mesa for installation of traffic-flow sensors, Friday 10 p.m. to Saturday 9 a.m.

In relation to that closure, the Loop 202 southbound on-ramp at Guadalupe Road is also closed. Please consider alternate routes, including southbound Ellsworth or Power roads to Ray Road to access the Hawes Road on-ramp to Loop 202 westbound.
