Commuters will deal with a few ramp closures and restrictions around the valley this weekend.

Thank you for visiting 12news.com for the weekend traffic report. Here’s what you need to know for the weekend of August 10 - 13, 2018. Commuters will deal with a few ramp closures and restrictions around the valley this weekend.

Let’s start in the West Valley on the Loop 303. The Loop 303 Northbound on-ramp at Thomas Road in Goodyear is closed for barrier wall repairs from Friday 9 p.m. till Saturday 9 a.m. Please consider alternate routes, including the northbound Loop 303 on-ramp at Indian School Road.

The Arizona Cardinals preseason starts this weekend, so expect heavier traffic on I-10 in west Phoenix and Loop 101 north of the I-10 late Saturday afternoon and evening due to game in Glendale. Please allow extra travel time and arrive early. The stadium parking lots open at 3 p.m. and the game kicks off at 7 p.m. The Loop 101 Northbound on-ramps at Camelback and Bethany Home roads and southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue are closed starting at 5:30 p.m.

The I-10 Westbound on-ramp at 43rd Avenue and the off-ramp at 51st Avenue are closed for work on the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange from Sunday 9 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Please consider using other nearby ramps.

Now to the East valley for the final restriction of the weekend. The US 60 Westbound is narrowed to two lanes between Rural Road and I-10 in Tempe from Sunday 8 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. for lane striping. Westbound US 60 ramp to eastbound I-10 (toward Tucson) is closed. Also, the US 60 Westbound HOV lane ramp to westbound I-10 is closed and the I-10 Eastbound off-ramp at Baseline Road is closed too. Drivers should consider alternate routes while ramps are closed, like, Loop 101 southbound to Loop 202 westbound to access I-10 eastbound.
