Glendale toddler accidentally shoots himself with parents' gun

The boy was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A boy in Glendale is being transported to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself, the Glendale Police Department reported.

The 3-year-old boy allegedly got a hold of his parents' unsecured firearm, police said. 

He is now being transported to the hospital with reportedly non-life-threatening injuries. Officers are starting an investigation, the department said.
