Bugs are taking over the Valley!
We’re talking about the biggest bug bash of the year: Bug Fest.
It’s happening in the outdoor courtyard at OdySea in the Desert this weekend.
It’s your chance to take the kids to an insect petting zoo. Face your fears and get your hands on a giant katydid, millipede or “cuddly” tarantula.
Want to live on the edge a little bit? You can even take a taste of some of the edible bugs they have to offer. There’s actually a word for bug tasting, entomophagy!
If insect treats don’t sound like your idea of a good time, you can predict who will scurry across the finish line first in the hissing cockroach races. The competition is like no other.
Bug Fest is this Sunday, March 31 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. No admission is required to attend the event and bug lovers of all ages are welcome. The event is presented by the Butterfly Wonderland and OdySea Aquarium Foundations.
