PHOENIX - Allen Scott Johnson, a former teacher at both Cactus High School and Paradise Valley High School, has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Johnson pleaded guilty to one count of sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
Glendale police arrested Johnson back in July or 2016. At the time, it was alleged that the 48-year-old Johnson had a sexual relationship in 2011 at Cactus HS with an underage female student.
Police said Johnson used his position and provided private lessons in both acting and debate to the victim.
Johnson will spend a lifetime on supervised probation following his release from prison.
