Another winter storm is headed our way this week, bringing more snow and rain to Arizona before the weekend.
For the Phoenix area, rain is most likely Thursday night and Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Isolated light showers may start over far southeast California as early as Wednesday afternoon and expand eastward.
NWS estimates rainfall totals in the Phoenix area will be a quarter inch to half an inch.
Snow near Flagstaff could start to fall as soon as late Wednesday night, but it is more likely to fall Thursday through Friday, NWS said.
NWS said 1 to 4 inches of snow will accumulate mainly in elevations above 6,500 feet Thursday night into Friday morning.
Enjoy the winter weather while you can; dry weather returns to the state over the weekend.
