Updated list: Cancellations, school closures due to the Arizona winter storm

With feet of snow and inches of rain hitting Arizona, here is the latest list of things that are canceled or postponed.

Schools, meetings, events. Many groups are wisely changing their schedule with the winter weather in Arizona.

School closures or delays

BASIS Flagstaff - School is closed Thursday and Friday.

Blue Ridge Unified School District - School is canceled both Thursday and Friday.

Cedar School District - School is canceled Thursday.

Chino Valley Unified School District - Schools are on a two-hour delay Thursday. Morning preschool is canceled.

Coconino Community College - All locations will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District - All schools will be closed Friday.

Diné College - Classes canceled starting at 5 p.m. Thursday. Friday classes before 10 a.m. are canceled.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Prescott Campus - The campus will be closed and all flight operations and campus activities are canceled Thursday and Friday.

Flagstaff Arts & Leadership Academy - School is closed Thursday.

Flagstaff Unified School District - All schools will be closed Thursday. The district will make a decision on closing school Friday by Thursday afternoon.

Flagstaff Chrisitan School - The school is closed Thursday and Friday.

Globe Unified School District - Schools will dismiss early Thursday.

Heritage Elementary School - The Williams school will be closed Thursday.

Holbrook Unified School District - All schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Humboldt Unified School District - School and offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Joseph City Schools - School is canceled Thursday. Classes will resume Monday.

Kingman Unified School District - All schools are closed Thursday.

Mingus Springs Charter School - School is closed Thursday.

Montessori School of Flagstaff - The West Side Campus, Sunnyside Campus, Switzer Mesa Campus, and Cedar Campus schools are closed Thursday.

Northern Arizona University - Class is canceled Thursday. Classes on NAU's Flagstaff, Navajo County, Yavapai County and Mohave County campuses will be canceled on Friday.

Page Unified School District - All schools are closed Thursday and Friday.

Payson Unified School District - All schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Payson High School - All sports and practices are canceled Thursday and Friday.

Prescott Unified School District - School will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Sedona-Oak Creek Unified School District - All schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Show Low Unified School District - All schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

STAR School Flagstaff - Classes have been canceled for Thursday and Friday.

Valley Learning Center - The Chino Valley center is on a two-hour delay Thursday.

Whiteriver Unified School District - Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday. ABCD Daycare is scheduled to be open Thursday but closed Friday.

Williams Unified School District - School is canceled for Thursday.

Winslow Unified School District - School will not be in session on Friday because of the storm. The district moved its regularly scheduled snow day from May 10, 2019, to Feb. 22.

Yavapai College - Classes are canceled and the campus is closed Thursday and Friday. All facilities will be closed.

Road closures and transit

Kingman Area Regional Transit - KART is closed Thursday.

Lake Mary Road - The Coconino County Public Works Department is closing a seven-mile stretch of Lake Mary Road, also known as Forest Highway-3, starting Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. The closure will be between the north and south entrances of Mormon Lake Road. Traffic will detour along West Side Mormon Lake Road.

Show Low Transit - Transit buses will not run Thursday and Friday in Show Low.

SR 64 - State Route 64 is closed between Grand Canyon Village and Desert View inside Grand Canyon National Park.

Public events

Fossil Creek public meeting - The public meeting in Flagstaff scheduled for Thursday was postponed. The meeting was to discuss the long-term plan for managing the Fossil Creek Wild and Scenic River. The meeting will now take place Feb. 27 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Coconino National Forest Supervisor’s Office in Flagstaff.

Yavapai College - The King's Singers concert is canceled.
