PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. — Two people have been arrested for allegedly killing a man and dumping his body in a Pinal County river wash.

Deputies got reports of a body in the Santa Cruz Wash near Anderson County Road Thursday morning. The victim was later identified as 42-year-old Troy Beebe of Casa Grande.

Investigators say Beebe was seriously injured after being run over by a car multiple times before being left to die in the creek. Deputies arrested 37-year-old Robin Franklin and 36-year-old John Radcliff.

Detectives found a car at the suspects' home with blood and the same tire tread pattern near the scene.

Nearby convenience stores employees saw Franklin and Radcliff entering the store with bloody hands and notified police.

“Within hours, they were able to track down both suspects and take them into custody,” Sheriff Mark Lamp said. “Hopefully, this will bring the victim’s family some closure."

The suspects’ connection to Beebe and what led up to the alleged attack is under investigation.

Franklin and Radcliff were booked into the Pinal County jail for first-degree murder.
