WILLIAMS, Ariz. — Firefighters from the Williams Ranger District of the Kaibab National Forest, Parks Bellemont Fire Department and Sherwood Forest Estates worked together to put out a 15-acre brush fire Tuesday afternoon.

The fire, which is being called the Beacon Fire, was found around 3 p.m. burning grass and pine trees south of I-40 near the Sherwood Forest Estates.
