ARIZONA, USA — The number of coronavirus cases in Arizona is on the rise once again. We continue to track updates on any developments regarding COVID-19. 

Here’s a breakdown of the case numbers for the week of Oct. 11 and other updates on the coronavirus and COVID-19 vaccinations.

Daily update on COVID-19 cases in Arizona

Each day, we will post the updated numbers for daily coronavirus cases and other important metrics in this section. Please check this article for updates throughout the week.

Here are the coronavirus case and death updates for the week of Oct. 11:

Friday, Oct. 22: 3,074 new cases, 51 new deaths and 1,145,196 total cases

Thursday, Oct. 21: 2,495 new cases, 49 new deaths and 1,142,122 total cases

Wednesday, Oct. 20: 1,991 new cases, 47new deaths and 1,139,627 total cases

Tuesday, Oct. 19: 5,660 new cases, 174 new deaths and 1,137,636 total cases. The high amount of cases and deaths represent three days worth of reporting due to website maintenance, ADHS said. 

Monday, Oct. 18: No new cases were added to the ADHS dashboard due to website maintenance.
