Alice Cooper talks to 12 News ahead of NBC’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’

Alice Cooper turned 70 earlier this year and he's busier than ever!

PHOENIX - Alice Cooper may have just turned 70 in February, but retiring is far from his plans!

He’s been so busy on tour, he says he’s only had one big rehearsal with the cast of "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert," but he’s ready to wow us as King Herod this Easter Sunday.

Cooper says he’s homesick and plans on taking a month off after the live production to spend some time at his Phoenix Valley home. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be busy.

His charity, Solid Rock Foundation, will take part in Arts Collision at the Thunderbird Art Center in Phoenix on April 7.

Watch the video in the player above to find out what he still manages to do almost every day during his jam-packed schedule and the strange thing he does every time before performing.
