PHOENIX - Coming into Wednesday, teachers, parents and students thought the end of the statewide teacher walkout was in sight.
READ: Day five of Arizona teacher walkout as lawmakers debate budget
Walkout leaders announced Tuesday that they would return to their classrooms Thursday if state lawmakers passed a budget proposal that would give teachers a 20-percent pay raise by 2020. And while Gov. Doug Ducey has said since last week that legislators were ready to pass the plan, it doesn't look like it will happen before late Wednesday night.
Though a vote may come later in the evening, the uncertainty has parents, students and even teachers wondering if schools will be open Thursday.
We're compiling a list as school districts announce their latest plans for the walkout. This list will be updated as more school districts announce their plans. This list includes school districts in 12 News' coverage area, mainly the Valley and northern Arizona. There are school districts in other parts of the state, such as Tucson, that are not reflected in this list.
If you know of a school closing that's not on the list, please email connect@12news.com.
