PHOENIX - A budget has passed and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey vows "teacher raises are on the way."
This after a week of teachers walking out of schools to advocate for increased school funding and raises for teachers and staff.
It came to a standoff Thursday. Education leaders said earlier in the week that teachers would be back in class Thursday, if a budget was passed Wednesday. Hours ticked by with no budget agreement, and many districts announced late Wednesday that schools would remain closed Thursday.
We're compiling a list as school districts announce their latest plans for school Friday. This list will be updated as more school districts announce their plans. This list includes school districts in 12 News' coverage area, mainly the Valley and northern Arizona. There are school districts in other parts of the state that are not reflected in this list.
If you know of a school reopening that's not on the list, please email connect@12news.com.
